My 8 year old daughter has extremely thick hair. She has a hard time getting all of the soap and conditioning product out from the nap of her neck without assistance.
We have had many issues with her scalp throughout the years, sometimes even needing to see the dermatologist, but to no avail.
One night she showered on her own and didn't get all the product out. Unbeknownst to me the product ate away at the nap of her neck overnight. I found a huge bloody scab on the nap of her neck the neck morning when I was brushing her hair.
The skin around it looked exactly like psoriasis and I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with the Cortisone Cream that the Dr. had given her.
I immediately had her shower again to have her rinse the product out and wanded her hair dry.
I wanded her head again that night and the next morning and discovered that her scab was gone, the inflammation was gone and her scalp looked perfectly normal!
